Did you know?

The Frauenkirche (Cathedral of Our Lady) is one of the Bavarian capital’s top attractions. Some locals still call the two newly renovated towers “Stasi” (from Anastasia, nickname for the south tower) and “Blasi” (from Blasius). The background to this was a newspaper appeal in the 1950s, in which suggestions for names were sought. Once at the top, you’ll be rewarded with a magnificent view through 16 windows in all directions.
